MAUS Stixx PRO is an automatic fire protection device that extinguishes the fire before it even starts. The award-winning innovation is installed in all smaller spaces where a fire can occur. Firefighting technology developed for space travel

The solid substance consists mainly of a form of potassium compound. Potassium radicals are very active and interrupt the chemical combustion reactions by neutralizing hydrogen, oxygen and hydroxide radicals in the flame. Since aerosols consist of very small particles in a gas, the result is a more effective extinguishing agent than conventional powder. The falling speed of the particles decreases with a smaller diameter as the surface becomes large in relation to the mass, which means that the air resistance becomes relatively large in relation to the force of gravity. This results in the particles remaining suspended for a longer time and thus contributes to a longer inerting time. In this way, better re-ignition protection is obtained. The extinguishing effect per unit weight is in the range of 3-10 times more effective than Halon and CO2.

About the products

The small size in combination with the large capacity makes the MAUS Stix PRO-series a unique fire suppression solution on the market. The new MAUS Stixx PRO 5 and MAUS Stixx PRO 10 are automatic fire suppression units for smaller to large enclosures. The build in heat detecting cables are placed in the top of the unit and activates the unit by exposure to fire or when the unit reaches 170ºC. One single MAUS Stixx PRO 10 protects a space of 1.0m³ and one single MAUS Stixx PRO 5 unit protects a space of 0.5m³. You canuse the adhesive tape on the back of the units or use the screw holes on the front to install the units in the enclosure.

The extinguishing agent is exhausted through the ports of the unit and quickly fills the enclosure and extinguishes the fire. For the ports on the side of the unit. With the Cable Clips you can easily attach the cable inside the enclosure for optimal detection. For a large spaces you can also serial connect more units for increased volume.
